Challenge Time! Family Heirloom Challenge

It's time for the first challenge of 2020! I think this one is going to be a lot of fun, as it's another one where you can literally do pretty much any thing that you want with it!

Rules

For this challenge, the rules are to write a story based around a family heirloom. What you decide to do with that if up to you. Aside from the inclusion of a family heirloom of some kind, go wild!
